The cases od those undergoing hemodialysis for chronic disease is higly prevalent in these recent years. It is demanding on clients who are regularly attending the hospital for treatments. Between their personal lives, work, and hospital treatments, the challenges of this disease affect many aspects of these people's lives.
The stufy utilized phenomenoenolically-based research susch as surveys and interviews to explore the personal experiences of regular hemodialysis treatment and the effect on the quality of life.
The findings from the study mention the emotional, social, economic, and physical hardships of undergoing hemodialysis. The insight provided by the participants relfected that the difficulties of undergoing hemodialysis transcend the hospital setting and affect several aspects of life. In addition to the physically taxing side of hemodialysis treatment, the participants discuss overcoming the psychological effects. This gives health care providers a deeper understanding of what en-stage renal disease patients undergo. The findings of this study will hopefully guide the way society and those in the medical field approach patients undergoing hemodialysis.
